Mahr distinguished for reliable vocational training

Start into a good, professional future: the new trainees at Mahr 2017

Lower Saxony’s education minister, Mrs. Frauke Heiligenstadt, has awarded Mahr GmbH the "Lower Saxony award for particularly reliable training 2017". The prize was awarded as part of the "Alliance for Dual Vocational Training", thus honoring the decades-long commitment of the manufacturer of production metrology to the training of young people.

In time for this year's training, Mahr GmbH was distinguished for its particularly reliable training. In her letter, Lower Saxony’s minister of education, Frauke Heiligenstadt, emphasized that Mahr fulfilled the criteria of the Alliance for Dual Vocational Education to a great extent. The company is a "beacon" of dual training and shows that training is much more than securing its own specialist needs. Training at Mahr is part of the corporate culture. The award also shows that Mahr is particularly linked to the region and supports regional structures. Mahr was selected by the "Alliance for Dual Vocational Education", an initiative which is committed to the strengthening of dual education. The alliance thus honors the company for its continuous and regular training in the category "Industry and Commerce".

"This award once again confirms the high quality of training at Mahr and our commitment to trainees with special training needs," says Sabine Schlüer, HR Advisor at Mahr. "Well-trained and highly motivated specialists are the basis for the success of Mahr. Already during the training period, we promote the young people both personally and professionally. "15 new trainees began work at Mahr on August 1, 2017 in seven different professions or dual studies.
