Knee
EN

A knee implant replaces the worn part of the joint of the knee with an artificial surface. The worn cartilage and bone layers are removed if necessary during surgery and replaced by two artificial parts, namely the thigh bone plate and the metal tibial plateau. The main features are the transverse and longitudinal contour of the knee joint, so that the sliding part function optimally as well as the roughness of the supporting component to the sliding component.
