Besucherrekord und viele Vertragsabschlüsse: Mahr auf der Control 2017.

Record attendance and many closed deals: Mahr at Control 2017.

Record attendance, many visitors from abroad and a large number of closed deals: Mahr looks back on the Control 2017 very satisfied. The products and measurement solutions presented, such as the wireless micrometer as a world novelty, measurement solutions for Industry 4.0 and interesting applications for various industries were well-received by the visitors.

"This year's Control was a very big show for Mahr: on some days we had up to 50 per cent more visitors than in the previous year - many had registered in advance and one third of the visitors were coming from abroad," says Manuel Hüsken, Vice President Sales and General Manager at Mahr. "The many concrete projects and deals were also very positive and outstanding." The press was also very interested in the innovations of the technology leader Mahr: 15 media representatives came to the press conference on the first day of the fair.

Mahr invested greatly in its customers and presented itself this year on 550 m2 with doubled stand space, where the manufacturer of production measurement technology presented trade fair highlights such as the micrometer Micromar 40 EWRi with radio connection, the MarWin 10 software as the key module for the operation of measuring devices or the special machine construction with automated measuring solutions for the “Smart Factory” of Industry 4.0.

“Our solutions ‘SMAHRT Metrology for the networked factory of the future’ were met with great response from visitors”, says Manuel Hüsken. “Here we were able to show many future-oriented solutions with our radio, hand-held metrology, standard measuring stations as well as fully automatic CNC measuring machines with robot loading – for inline production, among other things.” Mahr demonstrated at the show in an impressive way how the intelligence of these measuring devices helps manufacturing companies to more productively check the quality of workpieces, increase production quality, and reduce process costs.
