MarWin: Did you know... your own GUI
EN

Did you know it is not that difficult to include your own custom made dialogs in MarWin?

I am not talking about USER DIALOG here, I am talking about the really funky stuff. If you know how to make your own dialogs with Visual Studio, Delphi, Visual Basic or QT Creator, it’s no big deal to connect it to MarWin. If you don’t know how to do it, there is bound to be a student that will do it for you. It’s only GUI-stuff, after all.

a)    Create a Dialog with one of the tools above and compile it as a windows executable (exe-file)
b)    Call the program with WinExec in MarScript
c)    Let your MarScript program and your GUI communicate through an ini-file

There is a small example attached. It opens a countdown-clock. The GUI was written in Delphi - still the best tool for this kind of hacking ;).
