Automated and cost-effective testing of measuring equipment


Mahr's Optimar 100 is a tried-and-tested solution for checking dial indicators, dial comparators, dial test indicators. However, this work is carried out more reliably and faster with image processing since testing can be carried out automatically. Because: the automated procedure saves time and replaces the exhausting and error-prone reading by the operator.
Upgrade existing measuring stations
With a new upgrade kit, Mahr customers can now cost-effectively expand their existing measurement stations with Optimar 100 for automated testing. The hardware and software package is characterized by the fast image processing of the USB 3.0 camera, stable daylight-independent LED illumination and secure digital recognition and reading of digits.

The measuring system including image processing is also available as a complete package under the name "Precimar Optimar 100 BV".
Software with added value
The associated software QMSOFT® controls the measuring device and evaluates the camera image with the scale or digital display of the test object. It also compares the measurement results with the reference measurements and initiates the downstream processes in the test equipment management. Test certificates can also be created, passed on and filed with QMSOFT®.
