Premiere for the new Mar4D PLQ

Optimized for harsh environments: The new cylinder coordinate measuring machines of the Mar4D PLQ line from Mahr score when used in production. Multisensor technology and workpiece flexibility also ensure a wide range of possible applications.

Complex workpieces require a highly efficient measuring machine: It should solve various measuring tasks as quickly as possible, close to production and reproducibly in one system. The new cylinder coordinate measuring machines of the Mar4D PLQ line, which Mahr presented for the first time at EMO 2021, do exactly this.

Depending on the requirements, the new machines are equipped with up to four CNC axes and optical as well as optional tactile sensors. Monitoring systems, for example for ambient conditions or machine safety, ensure process stability when recording the 3D measured values. Thanks to its special construction, ergonomic design and active vibration compensation, the Mar4D PLQ is optimally equipped for use directly in production.

Extremely flexible in terms of workpiece size

High flexibility with regard to workpiece size also contributes to a significant increase in productivity – regardless of whether the systems are used on the shop floor or in the measuring room. Depending on the variant and equipment, the machines of the Mar4D PLQ series can inspect rotationally symmetrical workpieces up to a diameter of 200 mm, a length of 1,000 mm and a weight of 50 kg.
