A look back at Control 2018
Around 900 exhibitors presented their quality assurance solutions at this year's Control show. The trade fair was also a great success for Mahr: the metrology specialist from Göttingen presented a large number of new products, for tactile contour and surface measurement, for example, as well as for non-contact, optical surface measurement. "For Mahr, as for the other suppliers, Control represents an important milestone in presenting our own capabilities to our customers, something we have done impressively this year: our numerous new and further developments show the innovative power of our company,” explains Manuel Hüsken, General Sales Manager at Mahr.
Approximately 1,500 visitors came to the Mahr booth to find out about the many outstanding innovations. The proportion of foreign visitors is constantly increasing. "Control represents a leading trade fair for the metrology industry and is an important exhibition that is unparalleled worldwide," says Hüsken. "Positive for us is the high proportion of visitors who came to our stand with a new project, including many new customers."
Successful new stand design
After the exhibition stand had been increased to 550 m² in 2017, Mahr had decided to invest in the stand again this year. With success: Customers and employees commented positively on the new design and the clear structure. The open stand structure offered enough space even with a high number of visitors and the communication areas between the exhibits enabled focused discussions directly next to the corresponding product solutions.
