National winner in apprenticeship “Industrial Mechanic”: Florian Siegel from Mahr
Mahr once again provides the national winner in the Industrial Mechanic apprentice trade at the Association of German Chambers of Commerce Industry and Commerce (DIHK)
For the second time in a row, a Mahr apprentice is the national winner at the DIHK in the apprentice trade “Industrial Mechanic”. With the best scores, the Mahr apprentice Florian Siegel was successful nationwide.
"In his three and a half years of training, Florian Siegel showed great ambition, motivation and perseverance," praises Udo Fuchs, full-time trainer of industrial mechanics at Mahr. "His passion was the programming and operation of CNC machines." Mr. Siegel has since been taken on by Mahr and successfully gives his knowledge and enthusiasm to production in the "soft machining metrology".
Especially in times of skill shortages, excellent training is very important to Mahr in order to train qualified employees themselves. "As a high-tech company, Mahr offers its trainees an excellent basis during training with very modern equipped workshops, three trainers and in-house training," said Stephan Gais, managing director at Mahr. "The investment in our apprentices pays off since we are able to bind such well trained staff in this manner."
Mahr provides a total of fifty apprenticeship places - in addition to the apprenticeship as an industrial mechanic, apprenticeships can also be completed as an electrician for devices and systems, IT specialist /, industrial electrician and industrial business person and business person in wholesale and foreign trade (Esslingen). Education has a high priority at Mahr: In 2013, the company will open a new training center in Göttingen.
