Technology with appeal: Mahr receives prestigious seal of innovation

Mahr was able to assert itself impressively in this year's survey and is one of the 500 winners nationwide. Mahr had already successfully expanded its market position in recent years thanks to an increasing number of patent applications and pioneering innovations. The company intends to build on this in the future. "We are very proud of this recognition. It confirms the consistent path that the company has taken in metrology and development from the very beginning," says Mahr CEO Manuel Hüsken. "This seal is associated with great appeal – not only externally, but also internally, for example in the areas of research, teaching and training. The award is for everyone who is involved here."

As part of the DtGV study, which was carried out on behalf of stern, the number of patent applications from around 5000 medium-sized companies in Germany was examined. All companies that impressed with their "patent performance" in 2024 and generated a turnover of up to one billion euros were included in the ranking. All listed companies have registered at least five patents. In addition, an assessment was made of how often these patents are cited by other companies and how trend-setting an invention is for the industry as a result. The results were converted into a score value; the 500 companies with the highest score value were published in stern magazine, issue 14/25. In this year's evaluation, Carl Mahr Holding GmbH can be pleased to have achieved a good ranking in the top third in the "Measurement and control technology" sector.
