Processing of applicant data

Consent

When you apply for a job at a company within the Mahr Group, you are providing the company with your personal data for the purposes of the job search. Your data is stored and processed on our software partner’s systems.

Data protection and confidentiality

Data protection is important to us. The Mahr Group and software partner Haufe-umantis AG have taken the necessary organizational and technical measures to ensure the confidentiality of your application. As part of their employment contract, all employees in our personnel department and that of our software partner are obliged to keep personal data confidential. Automatically activated 128-bit encryption guarantees that your data is transmitted securely. The general standards for data security in accordance with the current state of the art are taken into account in data processing.

Use of your personal data

In addition to the form of address, last name and first name, typical correspondence information such as mailing address, e-mail address and telephone numbers are stored in the applicant database during the application process. Additional application documents such as a cover letter, resume, professional, training and continuing education qualifications as well as job references are also collected.
This data is stored, evaluated, processed or forwarded internally solely for the purposes of your application. The information is only accessible to employees in the human resources department and those responsible for selection within the Mahr Group. Under no circumstances will your data be passed on to companies or persons outside the Group or used for other purposes. 
The data may be processed for statistical purposes (e.g. reporting). The data is made anonymous so that it is impossible to identify individuals.

Right to information

A request for information allows you to obtain information about which of your data is being processed. Please send your request to: privacy-protection@mahr.com

Storage and deletion of data

If you accept a job with a company in the Mahr Group, your personal data, or an excerpt thereof, will be added to your personnel file.
If you have applied for a job but received a negative response, your details will be stored for a maximum of 3 months after completion of the application process and then deleted (profile and application). You will not be notified about the deletion of the data.
If you have applied for a job but we do not have a suitable position for you at this time, we reserve the right to assign your application to a talent pool. In this case you will receive a message regarding your information. If you do not agree or are no longer interested, please send us a message. We will then delete your data immediately. If your application is assigned to a talent pool, the data remains stored for a maximum of 12 months and is then deleted.
